HP Big Pin 65W 18.5V 3.5A 7.4×5.0 mm is a common AC power adapter (charger) for many older HP and Compaq laptops. It uses the larger “big pin” / Smart Pin barrel connector (outer diameter ≈ 7.4 mm, inner diameter ≈ 5.0 mm, with a center pin).
Compatible with many HP and Compaq laptops that require exactly 18.5 V / 3.5 A (or lower) and the 7.4×5.0 mm Smart Pin connector. Common series include:
Notes
Important: Always verify the exact voltage, amperage, wattage, and connector size on your original adapter or laptop label. Some models in the same series use 90 W/120 W adapters or the smaller 4.5×3.0 mm “blue tip” connector and are not compatible.
If you provide your exact laptop model, I can help confirm compatibility more precisely.
Genuine HP part numbers often associated with this exact rating and connector include (examples): PPP009L, PPP009H, PPP009D, TPC-DA58, PA-1650-series variants, 608425-002/003, 609939-001, and similar.

These ratings (18.5 V / 3.5 A / 65 W + 7.4×5.0 mm Smart Pin) must match your laptop's original adapter or the requirements printed on the bottom of the laptop. Using a higher-wattage adapter of the same voltage and connector is generally safe; a lower-wattage one is not.
