StarTech.com MDP2HDW (and similar white Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters) is the primary match for a white Mini DP to HDMI adapter with Thunderbolt compatibility.
The MDP2HDW is a passive Mini DisplayPort (mDP) to HDMI video adapter/converter in white. It connects a Mini DisplayPort (or Thunderbolt 1/2 port that outputs DisplayPort) source—such as MacBooks, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, Microsoft Surface Pro 1–6, laptops, desktops, Intel NUCs, or docks—to an HDMI monitor, TV, projector, or display.
It enables mirroring or extending the desktop without needing to upgrade the display. It requires a DP++ (multi-mode DisplayPort) source for passive conversion and is compatible with Intel Thunderbolt when connected directly to a supporting DisplayPort-over-Thunderbolt I/O port. Audio pass-through is supported if the source provides it. No drivers or software are required (plug-and-play).
It has a short attached cable (~5"/13 cm) and a compact design suited for Mac and light-colored setups.
