OPPO A7 LCD Screen: Complete Description, Features, and Specifications (2018 model, also known as Oppo AX7 in some markets).
The OPPO A7 features a large 6.2-inch waterdrop (teardrop) notch IPS LCD display, which was a popular design trend in 2018 for maximizing screen real estate while housing the front camera. The IPS technology provides good viewing angles, decent color reproduction for its class, and solid performance in indoor lighting. However, as an HD+ panel (not Full HD), sharpness is average at 271 ppi — text and images look acceptable for everyday use but may show some pixelation up close compared to higher-resolution screens.
The display uses a 19:9 tall aspect ratio, making it suitable for media consumption, multitasking, and gaming, with thin bezels contributing to the high screen-to-body ratio. The Gorilla Glass 3 adds durability against minor scratches and drops.
